Pithruvedi is a fellowship of fathers within the Syro-Malabar Mission Newcastle | Maitland, working together under pastoral guidance to support the spiritual and community life of the parish.
Mathruvedi
Mathruvedi is a group of devoted mothers at St. Mary’s Syro-Malabar Mission Newcastle | Maitland, inspired by Mother Mary. United in faith and service, they support parish activities, lead intercessory prayers, and play a vital role in nurturing the spiritual growth of families.
SMYM
The Syro Malabar Youth Movement (SMYM) is the official youth organization of the Syro Malabar Church, uniting over 1.6 million Catholic youth around the world. Though still in its early stages, SMYM is rapidly growing and plays a key role in strengthening the Church’s mission across India and abroad.
Catechism
Catechism is the foundation of faith formation for children and youth in our community. Through teachings rooted in the Syro-Malabar tradition, we nurture spiritual growth, prepare for the sacraments, and help deepen their relationship with God.
